Claude Moore Park held their "Ordinary times - life in Colonial Lanesville" event on February 22nd.

The event was held in and around the old Lane whiteboard house and offered visitors a glimpse into the daily workings of  what life might have been like back then. They got to see some woodworking, cooking over a fire and even got to sample some bread and chicken stew made over those fires.

In addition, there were demonstrations of spinning and needlework. Marla Campbell spun cotton on the Foothills guild great wheel "Lily". Several of the visitors even tried their hand at. Doesn't Lily look right at home there?!
